- Rinse the quinoa first. Quinoa has a natural coating, called saponin, that can make the cooked grain taste bitter or soapy. Giving it a quick rinse gets rid of it.
- Approx. 70g per person.
- Cover the quinoa in twice as much water. Bring to the boil and cook for 15 - 20 minutes.
- Add a vegtable stock cube to the pot when cooking for extra flavour.
